Corvara at a height of 1550 m is situated between the Gardena Pass and the Campolongo Pass and it is the most visited village of Alta Badia thanks to its numerous shops and various locals that assure Corvara a certain elegance and charm.
Here you find the most ancient church of the region, the church of St. Catherine dated XV century. The first ski lift of Italy was completed and tested in 1947, this brought a great tourism increase especially in the Seventies. You get directly to the famous Sella Ronda. The symbol of Corvara is the mount Sassongher 2665 m height that towers above the village.
